Where are you?
You can find all the venue info at the bottom of the page!
We are a 2min walk away from Wakefield WESTGATE train station, and a short walk (10min approx) from KIRKGATE Station.
We are a 5min walk from Wakefield Bus Station.

What time does it start/end?
Most of our events open their doors at 19:00 pm, however, please check your ticket and our social media pages for any updates/changes to running times.
We aim to have all our events finished by 23:30, but this changes depending on the event.

Where is good to go before the event?
Wakefield has a large selection of pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars to visit before your event, we'd recommend;

Luis Bar (5min walk away)
Throwback Coffee House (3min walk away)
The Old Printworks (1min walk away)
Harry's Bar (1min walk away)
Prego (1min walk away)
The Hop (1min walk away)

What forms of ID do we accept?
Venue23 only accepts a valid Drivers Licence or Passport for entry. any other forms will not be accepted and you may be refused entry to the event.

Do you take cash and card?
Yes! We take both cash and card on the bar and on the door for last-minute tickets.

Is there a cloakroom?
Venue23 has a cloakroom located at the main entrance, for a £1 fee you can store your belongings there throughout the event.

Do you use, Loud Noise, Pyrotechnics, and Strobe Lights?
Yes, most of our events will include all of these, should there be any issues please inform a member of our staff and we will be happy to help in any way we can!

Do you have a smoking area?
Yes! Venue23 has a smoking area located at the main entrance.

Seating?
For standing events, we can arrange for you to have a seat in our accessible area, please contact us and let us know if you require this prior to the event!  (please note this area is up a flight of 3 steps)
